Most backyards are just sitting there - unused, unfinished, and not working for anyone. That's the gap we love to close. When a yard gets the right design, it stops being just a patch of grass and starts being a place you actually want to spend time in. That's exactly the kind of thinking that drives everything we do.
This space is a good example of what happens when every element gets thought through together. The curved stacked-stone retaining walls anchor the layout and create natural separation between zones. On one side, you have a lush planted bed with a palm, ornamental grasses, and deep-purple shrubs - all part of a planting plan that layers texture and color. On the other, a clean artificial turf area centered around a round stone fire pit. The contrast works because the design was built to flow.
The flagstone patio ties it all together. We used large-format stone with tight joints, and we worked in a surface drain right at the transition point to keep water moving where it should. The island planting bed set into the patio - filled with dark slate rock, young trees, and a standing stone - adds a focal point that most yards never have. It's the kind of detail that makes the whole space feel intentional.
What we're showing here hits on a lot of what we do under one roof - retaining wall design and build, fire pit installation, garden and planting plan design, walkway and patio work, and full custom landscape design. Getting all of that handled through one team means the details actually connect. No gaps, no handoffs, no parts that don't match.
